Due to a serious zero-day security vulnerability in Google Chrome that could allow attackers to take control of users' computers, Yale ITS requires that Chrome web browsers are updated to the latest version as soon as possible.

| Starting Wednesday, October 28, Yale ITS will automatically update Chrome web browsers to the most recent version. Updates will be distributed automatically. No action is required on your part. | Faculty, staff, and students not using an ITS Managed Workstation are advised to update to version 86.0.4240.111 or higher as soon as possible. |
