As we embark on a new year, let's resolve to Bee Cyber Fit in 2025! By adopting simple yet effective habits, we can strengthen our digital defenses and protect ourselves and Yale from cyber threats. From strengthening passwords to being mindful of social engineering, every step counts. By building these habits into our daily routines, we can significantly reduce our risk of falling victim to cybercriminals.

Start by taking small steps, like creating strong and unique passwords, using multifactor authentication (MFA), and being wary of phishing emails.

Join us in the new year for a fun and engaging challenge.
We’ll get you thinking about cybersecurity and building your cyber muscles!

We’re beginning with a warm-up week starting January 27. If you haven’t already, complete our Bee Cyber Fit at Yale: The essentials to working securely training to fortify your cyber foundations. You’ll also secure your chance for a prize!

In February, you’ll complete your choice of weekly tasks.
We’ve lined up guest speakers, created fun cybersecurity games and puzzles,
and we’re introducing a meme contest!

Bee Cyber Fit at Yale:
The Essentials to Working Securely

It all starts with our foundational course  - it empowers you with essential knowledge to protect Yale’s data and systems. This self-paced training curriculum will boost your cyber knowledge and build cyber-safe behaviors.

Completing the training is the first step in being entered to win! If you’ve already completed the training, consider yourself warmed-up. If not, complete by February 28 and you’ll still have a chance to win.
