Bee a Winner: Solve the spring wordle

A woman excitedly looking at her laptop

Put your skills to the test with our spring wordle puzzle — where clever wordplay meets real-world cybersecurity smarts.

This edition, it’s all about staying cyber sharp. As everything gets a fresh start this spring, it’s the perfect time to level up your password game and shut the door on cybercriminals before they can make themselves at home.

Ready to grow stronger defenses and keep your accounts in full bloom? Start with these essentials:

  • Use Strong Passwords: Create long, complex passwords or passphrases that are hard to guess but easy for you to remember.
  • Keep Passwords Unique: Every account should have its own password — reusing them makes it easier for attackers to move from one account to another.
  • Enable MFA: Turn on Multifactor Authentication wherever available to add a powerful extra layer of protection.
    • Type your guess into the puzzle.
    • After entering your guess, the game will provide feedback by highlighting the letters in your word using different colors:
      • Green: A correct letter in the correct position.
      • Yellow: A correct letter but in the wrong position.
      • Gray: A letter that does not appear in the target word.
    • Analyze the feedback to refine your guess. Pay attention to the green and yellow hints to narrow down the possibilities.
    • Repeat until you successfully guess the target word or use up your allowed number of guesses.

After six guesses, you can refresh the page or the puzzle and keep trying!

Protect It Because It’s All Connected — Yale and Home

You don’t have a “work identity” and a “personal identity.” You have one identity and it connects everything.

From your Yale login to your personal email, banking, shopping, and social media accounts, your credentials are the keys to your digital life. When one account is compromised, it doesn’t stay isolated. Attackers count on the connections (like reused passwords, shared recovery emails, and familiar habits) to move from one account to another.

That’s why our spring campaign is focused on a simple truth:
Like a row of dominoes — when one account falls, others can follow.

Join us April 20 through April 24 to build your cyber muscles, test your instincts, and learn how to better protect your identity one habit at a time.
