- All Yale ITS-managed computers running the Apple macOS operating system will be updated automatically.
This morning, Tuesday, September 14, Yale ITS learned that Apple identified vulnerabilities within operating systems and software including, iPhones, iPads, Apple Watch, Macs, and Safari for Mac. Apple has provided patches to fix the vulnerability.
Immediate action required
To protect your own and Yale's data, please immediately update your Apple devices to the latest available software as soon as possible.

- If an Update Now button is visible, select that button; if an Upgrade Now button is visible, do NOT select the button

If you are working from an ITS-managed computer running the Apple macOS operating system and receive a prompt to update, please save your work and install the update immediately if possible.
