Starting Monday, June 23, ITS will begin a rolling migration to an updated multi-factor authentication (MFA) configuration.
What This Means for You
- Over the next few weeks, you may be prompted to sign in again to any open Microsoft applications across all devices you use.
- As part of the new process, you'll also see an additional prompt before completing your Duo MFA challenge.
What’s Changing?
Current Process:
- Enter your NetID and password
- Complete the Duo MFA challenge (e.g., approve a push, enter a code)
New Process:
- Enter your NetID and password
- A new window will appear: click “Approve with Duo Security”
- Complete the Duo MFA challenge (e.g., approve a push, enter a code)
