Do you know how to spot social engineering and phishing?

Have you seen Yale's guidelines for secure passwords?

Do you know how to report suspicious cyber activity?

Join us for one of our interactive trivia games as we explore five simple topics to help you stay cybersafe:

  • Know Your Risk - No matter if we’re working with Yale data or our personal data, we can’t protect what we have if we don’t know what we have. Knowing the sensitivity, confidentiality, and importance of our data is the first step to protecting it correctly.
  • Click with Caution - Be prepared for bad guys and their powers of persuasion. They use social engineering tactics to manipulate our behaviors and emotions. Their goal is to get us to share sensitive information.
  • Use Secure Passwords - A bad password keeps scammers in your rearview mirror. A better password places them in another state. Find out how to protect your password and the importance of adding multi-factor authentication for extra protection.
  • Apply Updates - Cybercriminals look for out-of-date, vulnerable devices to hack into. It makes their job easier because they can ‘walk in the open door’, unnoticed. Find out the full scoop on why they’re so important.
  • Bee SAFE, Not Sorry - How do you know when to report something? What steps should you take? What do you do once you’ve reported the concern? We sum it all up with our “Bee SAFE, Not Sorry” model.
