The primary security contact is a person who will assist with the incident response process.

Identify someone at Yale as the primary security contact for an IT system, even if a vendor provides a security contact. Ensure this contact is updated when the individual in question changes roles or responsibilities, or is no longer associated with Yale.

Provide this information to the Information Security Office upon request.
